Thursday, January 8, 2026 - Highlighting our OPAL Artists Online

Time: 12:30pm - 2:30pm
Location: Old Worthington Library, 820 High St, Worthington, OH 43085 (Not COHATCH!)
Program: Those attending the meeting - in-person or online - will be guided through the process of developing the information and images needed to have an online Portfolio on our OPAL website. For those already with portfolios, a good time to revisit and update!

Thursday, February 5, 2026 - Painting our Valentine with Pan Pastels

Time: 6:30pm - 8:30 pm
Location: Old Worthington Library, 820 High St, Worthington, OH 43085 (Not COHATCH!)
Program: Create a painting of your "Valentine" using Pan Pastels. Bring a photo or photos of your Valentine (spouse, child, grandchild, pet, flowers, etc), smooth paper-drawing or bristol board, drawing tools, stencils, etc. Details will be sent prior to the meeting.

Thursday, April 2, 2026 - Pastel Society of America "Enduring Brilliance" at the Butler Institute of American Art (https://butlerart.com/)

Time: 11 am - 4pm
Location: The Butler Institute of American Art, 524 Wick Ave, Youngstown, Ohio 44502
Program: We will meet at "The Butler" to view the 2026 Pastel Society of America "Enduring Brilliance" curated show. Twenty-five pastels that were selected for the 2026 Pastel Society of America Enduring Brilliance show in New York during September 2025. More details to come.

Thursday, May 7, 2026 - Clint Howard Demonstration (https://clinthowardfineart.com/)

Time: 6:30-8:30pm
Location: Clint will be Zooming in for the Demonstration. No in-person location for this meeting. See you all on Zoom.
Program: Clint is the recent 1st place winner in the Pastel Journal 2025 Best of Pastel competition. He will be demonstrating how to capture water and reflections with pastels.

Friday, August 7, 2026 - Plein air painting at the Winery at Porter Central
Time: 1-5pm
Location: 8290 Porter Central Rd, Sunbury, OH 43074
Program: Plein air painting in the afternoon. A glass of wine, a cool beverage, and/or some food following painting.
