Biography

I have been doing some kind of art since high school off and on. It was mainly drawing and ceramics and block prints. About 25 years ago I began doing watercolors and took some lessons at Springfield Art Museum. Later I studied with Steve Perucca at Middletown Art Center before switching to paste with Linda Pauley. Since then I have done a number workshops with pastel artists such as Stan Sperlak, Lana Ballot and others. I am inspired by nature, movement and color. I am drawn to beach scenes and wetlands from my childhood and landscapes.
