Biography


Erin Scaia is an artist, instructor and freelance designer based in Columbus,Ohio. She has been drawing for as long as she could hold a pencil. She took many art classes as a child and moved on to private drawing lessons in her early teens, where she developed her skills to that of a professional level. In 2015 she took a pastel class and fell in love with the medium, which inspired her to reconnect with her passion for painting. Her work has been featured at the Ohio State Fair, McConnell Arts Center and 400 West Rich Street. She accepts pet portrait commissions.

I have vacationed in Charleston, SC for the past 40 years. I have a deep love for this city and surrounding areas. This is the iconic bridge at Magnolia Plantation. I have visited this place many times and it holds a special place in my heart. I like to think that comes through in my painting.
